Because We're Team Blue

Backtracking to February 13: Blue

 

My brother, husband, cousins, and I decided to get some photos made for our mothers for Christmas. Well, I said, "Hey, let's get some photos made for our mothers for Christmas" and they all cheerfully went along with it. The joys of being the only girl cousin :-) So, we went to Woodward Park in Tulsa and took some photos. I chose blue for the color scheme. We also saw Team Red, Team Black, and Team Halloween costumes (it was October). I think we may have seen Team Purple, too, but it's a little hazy. We seriously considered ambushing one of the other color teams and rumbling, West Side Story-style. Or combining forces with Team Red to patriotically smack down Team Black.

 

And I didn't know so many shades of blue existed in nature until we went on our honeymoon cruise in January 2011. This photo was taken from a catamaran just off the cost of Isla Roatan in Honduras, where I failed at snorkeling. But I got some awesome photos!
