Last night, I ordered a medium cheese and pepperoni pizza and breadsticks from Pizza Hut. I ate all but two pieces of the pizza, neglecting the breadsticks altogether.
Why am I bothering to tell you nice people about such a mundane activity?
Because I haven't eaten a pizza like that and not scraped the toppings off in, oh, about three and a half years. Regular pizza is basically a big, neon sign of a no-no on my migraine diet.
For some reason last night, I decided I really needed to eat a gross, disgusting, mass-produced pizza that I knew would most likely lead to a migraine in the morning. I wanted comfort food, and the only thing that sounded appealing was a cheesy, greasy, pepperoni-laden pizza. Of course, after I ate all but two pieces of it my body kinda went into a state of panic and said, "What the hell? What is this foreign substance and why are you shoving so much of it into the stomach? What did we do to you?" I spent a good share of the rest of the evening nauseous.
Nauseous, but satisfied.
And miraculously there was no migraine in the morning.
